David Molina, the photographer

June 7, 2010

I met David a few years ago at church.  He played the piano extremely well.  You can just tell he had love for music.  In March 2008, David found a new love.  His camera.  It began when he was helping his dad read the manual of a DSLR camera to teach him how to use it.  David’s interest grew when his dad upgraded and stopped using the Canon XTi.  David took this camera into his arms and used it on a trip to Honduras.  In December 2008, David pursued a career in photography.  Since the inception of David’s photography days, he has shot several weddings and photos for music artists.  You can check him out at www.davidmolinaphoto.com, add him on twitter http://www.twitter.com/davidmphoto or call him at 786-218-3482.

This is one of David’s photos.  He persistently visualizes a concept and then challenges himself to create it.  Not only with photography, but with music and sound as well.  David said that he once heard someone say that a good sound engineer is not the one who makes it sound good but the one who wants a certain sound and can produce it. When I told David to choose a photo to post, he picked this one not because of the technical aspects or concept but because he was able to visualize a concept and succeed in creating it exactly as he visualized it.
